TotalBid is suited for bids entailing any mode of transportation and accommodates multi-mode bid packages. The TotalBid system facilitates the completion of periodic bid events between buyers and potential vendors using state of the art technology and supply chain best practices. This enables TotalBid clients to conduct smarter more efficient business.

What are the benefits of TotalBid?
TotalBid substantially reduces procurement time. It standardizes, centralizes, and organizes all bid information allowing for seamless and efficient execution and analysis. TotalBid encourages the most competitive bids. The user of a grading system and an easy to use reverse auction format makes Total bidder friendly. This coupled with the ability to offer the tender to a larger pool of bidders, without adding to procurement time, encourages a more competitive bid.

What does the grade next to my bid mean?
As you make bids, you will notice that each bid is assigned a grade (A, B, C, D, or F). Grades are assigned based on a formula that incorporates both a shipper's benchmarks and other carriers' bids.

How do I know if I win the bid on any given lane?
Once an auction is completed, the shipper and TotalBid representatives will determine the winner of each lane bid. The winners will be notified by the contact information filled out in their registration form, which includes email and phone contact info. The assigned grade weighs heavily, so bidders should strive for the best grade possible.
